Jackson Farm
Continuing Care Retirement Community
Now in the early planning stage of converting our farm into a faith-based retirement community
Mission of the project
Our plans are to provide a faith-based community where love, kindness and happiness are practiced, while serving and promoting health and wellness for all. A place preserved for the benefit and welfare of humanity and all of God's creatures, were diet , exercise, and the best health programs for the spirit, mind and body are implemented by following the best practices of legal and ethical behavior . Creating a place where one would desire to be.
Our Vision
With 60 acres of land, that is part pastures and forest, the opportunity and challenge is to plan and develop a place where cottages for independent and continuing care living are surrounded by nature and wildlife.
Pets and therapy animals would be an important part of the health and well being of residents and staff.
While a portion of the land would be devoted to housing, the balance would be used for wildlife trails and nature study
There is space for resident gardening. Not only for fresh vegetables, but also for flowers for the soul.

The farm is located in the Horrell Hill community east of Columbia, just 7 miles east of US I 77, and 8/10 mile North of US 378. There is an EMS station, a nursing home, and other support facilities nearby in the community.
